Molina Healthcare Names John H. Kotal President of California Health Plan

MolinaHealthcare of California today announced that John H. Kotal has been appointed PlanPresident for Molina Healthcare of California. He will be responsible for operationaloversight of the California health plan, as well as the implementation andexecution of the plan’s strategic initiatives.
Kotalhas served as Vice President of Vendor Management at Molina Healthcare since2018. He brings more than 20 years of California managed care experience in providernetwork management, health plan operations, compliance, and vendor management.
Prior to joiningMolina, Kotal was Vice President of Business Process Services at CognizantTechnology Solutions, a Fortune 200 professional services company. Previously,he led claims operations, provider network management, compliance, and vendormanagement at Health Net, Inc.
