The MolinaCares Accord Installs Blood Pressure Testing Station for the Community of San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, Tex., Apr. 21, 2025 - The MolinaCares Accord, together with Molina Healthcare of Texas and the American Heart Association, recently presented a blood pressure testing station to Women Involved in Nurturing, Giving, Sharing, Inc. (WINGS). The station was installed and is now available for community members to access during regular operating hours.

Funding for the station was part of a recent $100,000 grant from The MolinaCares Accord, in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Texas. The grant supports the placement of 20 table-top blood pressure stations at highly trafficked locations in Greater Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Laredo, El Paso, Tyler, Hidalgo County, and Bexar County.

The San Antonio installation event also featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as resources and information on cardiovascular health and how to live healthier lives so as to improve health outcomes.
