Over-the-counter (OTC) COVID-19 test kits for Virginia Medicaid members
The federal government recently made COVID-19 tests more accessible. On February 7, 2022, the Virginia Medicaid program began covering at-home COVID-19 test kits for Medicaid recipients.
What does this mean for you?
Molina Complete Care (MCC) Medicaid members can pick up OTC at-home COVID-19 test kits at your local pharmacy at no cost. You don’t need a prescription. Visit our Find a Doctor or Pharmacy page to find a pharmacy near you.
You can get up to eight test kits every 30 days. If you need more tests in a 30-day period, you will need to get a prescription from your doctor.
