Emergency medical transportation

Emergency transportation (ambulance) or ambulance transport services, provided through the “911” emergency response system, will be covered when medically necessary.

Non-Medical Transportation

Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) is covered for medically necessary covered services. NMT is transportation by a car, taxi, or other public or private way of getting to your medical appointment.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) is covered for medically necessary covered services. NEMT is transportation by ambulance, litter van, wheelchair van or air.

How do members get care?

Emergency Medical Transportation:
If you need emergency medical transportation, please call “911”.
 
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation: 
Your primary care physician (PCP) or specialist will need to complete a Provider Certification Statement form prior to receiving transportation. To schedule please call American Logistics at 1 (844) 292-2688 or visit the website: American Logistics. American Logistics accepts requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We recommend calling at least 3 business days in advance of your appointment, or as soon as you can when you have an urgent appointment. Please have your member ID card ready when you call.
