Molina Healthcare of Michigan Donates $10,000 to the Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic

Molina Healthcare presented a $10,000 check to the Dr. Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic (GBCHC) during a recent event. An incredible team of volunteer physicians, dentists, pharmacists, students and administrators serve the GBCHC, providing nearly 3,000 annual office visits and over $1 million dollars-worth of medication free to those in need. Tri-County Dental Health partners with the GBCHC and Molina Healthcare to provide medical and oral health to the community at no cost.
“Tri-County Dental is pleased to partner with Molina Healthcare on creating a dental home program for members to improve their oral health, as well as the overall health and well-being of their Medicaid members,” said Karen Trompeter, director of Tri-County Dental Health. “This Program aims to inform members that by regularly using their dental benefits, they will prevent oral diseases that impacts a number of health conditions, including diabetes and heart disease.”
