Molina Healthcare and Partners Support Los Angeles County Residents with Community Aid Event as Wildfire Recovery Continues

LONG BEACH, Calif., Feb. 4, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of California (“Molina”) has announced an ongoing partnership with MAHI International, Inc and Medical Mission Adventures to aid communities affected or displaced by the devastating wildfires in the greater Los Angeles area. In addition to long-term mobile medical services and other support resources, a recent kick-off event also offered a new shoe giveaway to over 3,000 individuals and families.
Founded in Long Beach, Molina has been dedicated to serving local communities in California for over 40 years. “So many of our team members and partners call Southern California home and we are committed to helping meet the needs of our community – not just today, but for the long haul,” said Abbie Totten, plan president for Molina Healthcare of California. “Our top priority is the health and safety of our members, communities, providers, and employees.”
Immediately following the wildfires, Molina contributed support and resources to establish Eaton Health Village, which will be a fixture for the community during this challenging recovery period.
Following the wildfires, in partnership with MAHI International and Medical Mission Adventures, Molina deployed two RVs for long-term mobile clinic support to establish Eaton Health Village. The services offered include medical, dental, vision, mental health, along with prescription services.
Additionally, community resources and essential goods will also be distributed to those in need indefinitely.
