Providing care during emergencies
Eligibility verification
If the internet is down, you can verify your Passport patients' eligibility by calling the Provider Services line and using the IVR phone system. Or you can speak to a representative at (800) 578-0775
Prior authorizations
Authorization requirements may be impacted for Passport patients in the impacted areas.
Medication support
If your Passport patient has lost their prescription due to recent the recent natural disaster, emergency prescriptions are covered. You can find a nearby pharmacy by visiting https://kyportal.medimpact.com/ or by calling MedImpact Member Services at (800) 210-7628
Transportation assistance
For help with your patients' transportation, please contact Kentucky Transportation Cabinet at (888) 941-7433
Vision support – for lost eyewear, please contact Member Services (800) 578-0603

FEMA disaster recovery support
Federal disaster relief help is available for those affected. Visit DisasterAssistance.gov or call (800) 621-3362 to learn about applying and what is available to you and your patients.

Contact the Red Cross at 800-RED-CROSS or Kentucky Region | American Red Cross to locate resources near your patients.
