Molina Healthcare of South Carolina covers all medically necessary services that are offered. Medically necessary means that a service is needed to prevent, diagnose or treat a medical condition. 
 
Examples of behavioral health services include, but are not limited to:
  • Psychiatrist services
  • Psychiatric inpatient hospital services
  • Psychologist services
  • Specialty mental health services
  • Rehabilitative services
  • Marriage counseling services
  • Family and child counseling services
  • Licensed clinical social worker services

How do members get care?
Some behavioral health care services are now provided through Molina Healthcare of South Carolina. If you have questions about your behavioral health needs, call. If you need to talk to someone, call. If you need help with your Behavioral referral, call Molina Member Services at (855) 882-3901 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

 
Please call Member Services if you have questions about covered or non-covered services. We will answer your questions. A detailed listing of covered services, limitations and non-covered services (exclusions) is included in your Member Handbook.
