Getting care during emergencies
Medication
If you cannot get a medication at your regular pharmacy, you can get it at a different location by:
- Going to the same pharmacy chain (same pharmacy name) in another location.
- Bringing your prescription container to a new pharmacy (different pharmacy name).
- Asking your doctor to contact a new pharmacy.
- Asking a new pharmacy to contact your regular pharmacy to transfer your prescription (if your regular pharmacy is open).
