The state of New York can help you if you need emergency and/or non-emergency medical transportation. These services will be covered by regular Medicaid.

How do members get care?
To get non-emergency transportation, you or your provider must call Medical Answering Services (MAS) at the number below:

  • 1-855-852-3287, for members who live in Onondaga County
  • 1-855-733-9397 for members who live in Cortland County
  • 1-866-753-4543 for members who live in Tompkins County

You or your provider should call MAS at least 3 days before your medical appointment. View your member handbook for more information about what you will need to do to get help with medical transportation. You can also visit www.medanswering.com.

If you have an emergency and need an ambulance, you must call 911.​
